Uric acid is soluble in blood, and as it gets dissolved, it passes through the kidneys. The excess Uric acid then gets eliminated from the body in the form of urine. If kidneys are unable to eliminate excess Uric acid, it causes the Uric acid level to rise. It is known as Hyperuricemia or Gout. It may further lead to problems like Gouty arthritis, kidney stones, and renal failure.
